FundedNext at a glance
An established prop trading firm, reviewed by the Tradelytic team and rated by traders.
Founded in 2022 and headquartered in the UAE, FundedNext is a leading international proprietary trading firm that has disbursed over $100 million in total trader payouts across 190+ countries. FundedNext pioneered the Phase Profit Share concept, allowing traders to earn a 15% profit split on profits made during the evaluation challenge phases prior to getting funded. The firm offers funded account challenges ranging from $6,000 up to $200,000 across Forex, Indices, Commodities, Metals, and Cryptocurrencies.
Traders can select from four distinct funding paths: Stellar 1-Step, Stellar 2-Step, Evaluation 2-Step, and Express. Execution choices are broad, supporting MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and the proprietary GrowthNext trading engine. A major structural highlight is FundedNext’s Balance-Based Daily Drawdown calculation on Stellar accounts, which computes daily risk against starting day balance rather than fluctuating equity.
FundedNext operates with no maximum time limits on its primary Stellar challenges, enabling traders to pursue targets without clock pressure. Automated Expert Advisors (EAs), trade copiers, overnight position holding, and news trading are fully permitted across funded models. Furthermore, FundedNext offers a unique 24-Hour Payout Guarantee: if an approved payout request is not processed within 24 hours, the firm pays out the requested amount plus an extra $1,000 bonus.
Our verdict
The Tradelytic editorial assessment — independent of any commercial relationship.
FundedNext is one of the most innovative and reliable prop trading firms in the retail sector. Its 15% evaluation profit split provides immediate value before reaching funded status, while its balance-based daily drawdown calculation gives traders a fairer, cleaner risk baseline compared to equity-based trailing drawdowns. Combined with 24-hour payouts (backed by an extra $1,000 delay compensation guarantee), cTrader/MT4/MT5 support, and no time limits, it delivers exceptional operational freedom.
However, traders should be mindful of specific rule conditions. The Express model uses a trailing drawdown rather than a static one, which reduces equity flexibility as account profits increase. Additionally, FundedNext enforces consistency rules and lot-size limits on certain Express and evaluation accounts to prevent single-trade gambling setups. Finally, scaling plans require meeting strict winning-month and profit targets over multi-month cycles.
