Trading212 at a glance

An established multi-asset broker, reviewed by the Tradelytic team and rated by traders.

Trading 212 is a UK-based multi-asset platform offering commission-free stocks, ETFs and CFDs across 10,000+ instruments, with its proprietary platform available across web and mobile. Regulated by the FCA in the UK and FSC in Bulgaria, it has grown into one of Europe’s most popular retail investing platforms, particularly known for introducing fractional share investing and zero-commission stock trading to a mass retail audience.

In our assessment, its strongest points are FCA regulation, genuine commission-free stock and ETF investing, fractional shares and an exceptionally user-friendly proprietary platform. The main trade-off is that the platform is optimised for simplicity and long-term investing rather than active technical trading – advanced charting and algorithmic tools are limited.
